What can you buy using the Request Form?
The Request Form allows employees to purchase the following computer hardware products and services:
- desktop PCs
- mobile PCs
- virtual desktop devices (VDD)
- monitors
- associated services, including centralised and installation services
- servers
- server racks
- enterprise computing and storage
- networks and cabling

Who can buy from the Hardware Marketplace?
Non-corporate entities
Non-corporate entities (NCEs) must use the Hardware Marketplace to buy:
- desktop PCs
- mobile PCs
- virtual desktop devices
- monitors
- tablets
They can choose to use the Hardware Marketplace when they’re buying:
- enterprise computing
- enterprise storage
- network equipment
- network cabling
Other buyers
The following buyers can choose to use the Hardware Marketplace to purchase hardware products and services:
- corporate Commonwealth entities
- other Australian Government bodies
- state and territory government agencies
- any corporation controlled by the Australian Government or a state or territory government
